It's been a long while since I've posted anything new. I have such good intentions to keep up and then I get behind. And sometimes.... it's WAY behind.

So, here I go at try, try again with keeping up. This was a recent session of a great family that I truly enjoy!! After years of me taking pictures of the kiddos they finally decided it was time for a family photo. I love walking into a home of my returning clients were the kids remember who I am and are excited to see me! It's an awesome feeling and a feeling I get each time I walk into theirs. Thanks "M" family!!

Thank you to all my clients who have been so patient and gracious with me as I've been dealing with website issues. As you can see below this post my site got hacked right before Christmas. It's been a huge ordeal getting it back up and working correctly again. It effected my site and anything attached to my site such as email, ordering and slide shows. For you photographers out there that read my blog... lesson learned here... back up, back up, back up. And I mean everything!! Site and all!! Thankfully my wonderful hubby had foresight into this!! We are backing up even more now. To the person in France who hacked my site... I hope you find a better, more fulfilling career soon!!

So I was all excited with this session. The forecast had snow in it... woo hoo! These kiddos' mom was all for it too. Well, I'm driving to meet them and wouldn't you know, my lovely snow turns to rain... nooooo! So we had to adjust to the weather and do an indoor shoot.... Thankfully this mom is a laid back, go with the flow kind of gal. Here are the cutie, cutie kids that went with the follow too.... ready for Christmas.

This year there are 4x8 or 5x7 cards available. 4x8's are printed on high quality, professional photographic paper with your choice of metallic or lustre finishes. 5x7's are double sided cards printed on professional card stock. 5x7's can be printed on pearl, standard or linen card stock. You may also choose to have your photo in b&w or in color for either 4x8's or 5x7's. Those of you that choose the 5x7's can consider having both... color on one side and b&w on the other. Both sizes come with envelopes but unfortunately do not come pre-addressed. You'll have to take care of that part. :-)

I've had the pleasure of photographing the "P" family for several years. Two adorable, sweet girls and two completely wonderful parents. I'm so honored when I have clients come back to me year after year! It's nice when it feels as if their friends that I just haven't seen in a while. Seeing the kiddos grow and change is an added perk! Oh, and congrats to the "P" family!! I hope to be photographing the littlest "P" next year! :-)

This is my cousin who just recently got engaged to a super awesome (and handsome I must add) guy! I was thrilled to shoot their engagement pictures. Her mom, sister and I road tripped it and girl weekend it down to Texas for the session. I must tell you from a woman that has a house full of boys a weekend of mostly girl time was nice... fun time! Thanks girls!

Carefully and gentle raise your perfectly selected leaf to your mouth. No quick movements here as you might drop your leaf if you do.

STEP -4-
After enjoying your leaf you may need to sit down and take a break. While doing so it is a great opportunity to be searching for your next leaf.

STEP -5-
This is your final step. Your final step is to sit back and enjoy what you accomplished. You may also want to takes this time to reflect on the things that you might be able to better on your next leaf eating outing.

Winter Fun...outside!!

So often I here from clients that they don't think about doing pictures in the winter. Most of the time the question is..."where would we go?" The answer... outside... inside...everywhere we'd go for a session in the spring, summer or fall. Winter pictures are a ton of fun with such a unique look!

Here's one sweetie that headed outside with me. She was having a terrific time playing in the snow by throwing snowballs and making tracks.

Happy New Year!! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday and 2009 has been treating you good.

I'd mentioned to stay on the look out for something new, something that I've never offered before and I don't know that I'll ever offer again.... well here it is. I wanted to start the new year off with a BANG so are you ready? For 5 days and 5 days only, I will be offering a session with ADP for only $20. Woo hoo, yep $20. My normal session fees are $100 and up. So, if you've been planning to make an appointment... do it in the next 5 days.

Ok, here are the complete details. Starting January 6 and ending on January 10 at 12 midnight my normal $100+ session fee will only be $20!! Call me or email me to schedule. Your session can be scheduled for any time in 2009. I must hear from you before midnight of Jan. 10 for this special rate! To hold your session spot I must receive your $20 session payment one week after your session is booked. Session fees are non-refundable.

Niagara Falls

We headed up to the northeast for a bit of a family vacation. I'm not sure why we thought driving with our 4 kids for hours on end would be a vacation!? Anyway, we stopped off in St. Louis, then in Pittsburgh, PA and finally ended up at Niagara Falls, Canada. I'd never been there. If you haven't, it's definitely worth the trip!! We happened on some awesome fall colors too. Oh, FYI if you plan on going after June of 2009 you'll need your passport!

Oh I Love Fall!!

Fall is my favorite season! I love the smell, the leaf colors and even the color of the sky as it tends to have more of a yellowish, orange hue. So, of course I love taking fall pictures.

I was thrilled when this family contacted me again to take pictures for them this fall. Their girls are so fun, energetic and adventurous. The parents are great and a ball to work with! We had a good time enjoying the fall weather on this day. It's such a joy to get to know these families. I love it!!!

Here's the 411 for all my seniors!

These are the coolest way to keep in contact with your friends! 411 cards are the thing to have! They're business sized cards to hand out to all your friends. Cards that contain all of your contact information like your cell number, email, facebook, etc. Whatever you want and need to keep in contact with your friends as you all head off for college will be on your 411 cards. You can give your 411 cards to all the new friends you will be making as well. All you do is choose your images, card style and information for your 411 cards.

It seems like it's been forever since I've posted pictures on the Blog. So, I thought it was about time to get back into the swing of things.

I always enjoy getting to know these young adults...SENIORS. We always seem to have such a great time, no matter the weather or location. They are so willing to step out of their comfort zone for me.

Here is "T". What an awesome guy! We had a blast on his senior shoot! It was cold outside. Brrrr!! I was cold in my coat but you couldn't tell by "T's" pictures. He didn't mind a bit and did great!

So, if you are thinking about scheduling a session you will need to do so soon! You will especially need to schedule soon if you will be needing a spring or summer session. These sessions get booked quickly and will be booked even sooner do to my limited availability.

Exciting changes for 2008

2008 is going to be a very exciting year for Alison Demski Photography! As you can see the look of ADP has changed. The color and logo are all new. Also new is this blog to keep you all updated on ADP news, my schedule and most importantly a possible sneak peek of your session. You may have also noticed that I am now accepting credit cards through PayPal. I've added this for the convenience and speed for all my clients rather then having to drop a check in the mail. Next up is a new site coming. You've seen me post that here and there. It should be up within a week or so. It too will have a completely new look and feel. It's all so exciting and I can't wait for you to see it.

Happy 2008!! Technically, I'm still on vacation until January 7th. I just wanted to post really quickly to be on the watch for my new site. It will be launched very soon!!

I've been photographing these two sisters for years. I get to photograph them about once a year and love to see the changes in them. Little M in the red has been on my main splash page for quite a while so she may look familiar to you. Both Little Ms L and M are great fun to photograph and we have terrific time at each shoot!
