change in plans

So I was all excited with this session. The forecast had snow in it... woo hoo! These kiddos' mom was all for it too. Well, I'm driving to meet them and wouldn't you know, my lovely snow turns to rain... nooooo! So we had to adjust to the weather and do an indoor shoot.... Thankfully this mom is a laid back, go with the flow kind of gal. Here are the cutie, cutie kids that went with the follow too.... ready for Christmas.

An engagement session.... I love them! It's such an exciting and fun time for the couple. That excitement comes out in the sessions which equals fun photos. I'm especially fond of this couple... this is my cousin and her terrific guy. Congrats to them!!

Watch out girls!! A few more of this handsome crew. Another mom of all boys, oh how I can relate. These guys were full of energy and fun. I loved their reaction to the idea that we were taking pictures outside. I'm not sure they really believed me at first.

now that's an enlargement!

Now this is an enlargement! I did a session for a local salon earlier this year. The salon owner (pictured here) used one of the images to advertise on a billboard. I told you a 8x10 wasn't an enlargement... (hee-hee)

2009 Christmas Cards!!

They're here... 2009 Christmas Cards! This year there are 4x8 or 5x7 cards available. 4x8's are printed on high quality, professional photographic paper with your choice of metallic or lustre finishes. 5x7's are double sided cards printed on professional card stock. 5x7's can be printed on pearl, standard or linen card stock. You may also choose to have your photo in b&w or in color for either 4x8's or 5x7's. Those of you that choose the 5x7's can consider having both... color on one side and b&w on the other. Both sizes come with envelopes but unfortunately do not come pre-addressed. You'll have to take care of that part. :-)

The mom of these fun guys mentioned that she is a lover of black and white photographs. So I'm posting a couple of her two good looking men in b & w. I don't seem to post many b & w on the blog. I don't know why because I'm a huge fan of them as well. There is something so clean and crisp about them.

I've had the pleasure of photographing the "P" family for several years. Two adorable, sweet girls and two completely wonderful parents. I'm so honored when I have clients come back to me year after year! It's nice when it feels as if their friends that I just haven't seen in a while. Seeing the kiddos grow and change is an added perk! Oh, and congrats to the "P" family!! I hope to be photographing the littlest "P" next year! :-)

availability and deadlines

***NOVEMBER IS NOW BOOKED***

First up... availability. I have one, yes one, session available for the month of November. The date available is Nov. 22nd. If you are wanting to get your session in before the Christmas deadline, please contact me ASAP because this date will fill quickly.

Now that leads me to the Christmas deadline. If you are needing your order for Christmas, the deadline is Dec. 4th. All orders after that date are not guaranteed to be back in time for Christmas.

Ahhh, a fellow mom of all boys. And what sweet boys they were. I thought for sure we were going to be rained out but the day ended up being a beautiful one! So here are a few "sneak peeks" for their mom. The one of their oldest makes me smile every time I look at it. =)

congrats

This is my cousin who just recently got engaged to a super awesome (and handsome I must add) guy! I was thrilled to shoot their engagement pictures. Her mom, sister and I road tripped it and girl weekend it down to Texas for the session. I must tell you from a woman that has a house full of boys a weekend of mostly girl time was nice... fun time! Thanks girls!
